Radiator coolants, also known as antifreeze, are fluids used to regulate the temperature of an engine. They are added to the radiator of a vehicle to help keep the engine cool during operation. Radiator coolants typically consist of a mixture of water and ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, along with additives to prevent corrosion, foaming, and other issues. The coolant circulates through the engine and absorbs heat, which is then dissipated through the radiator. Regular maintenance of the coolant system, including flushing and replacing the coolant, is important to prevent overheating and engine damage.
